CAN I GET LIFE INSURANCE IF I’VE HAD COLORECTAL CANCER?




Colorectal Cancer can be successfully treated. But can you still get affordable life insurance?

Insert a space, Colorectal Cancer is a pain in the butt. (Pardon the pun.) According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Colorectal Cancer is the 2nd leading cancer killer in the US Colorectal Cancer is a cancer that affects the colon and rectum, with tumors formed in the lining of the large intestine.

Symptoms of cancer include: diarrhea or constipation, blood in the stool, deadly gas pains, or cramps, sudden weight loss, fatigue, and nausea or vomiting. Tests for this type of cancer include a colonoscopy to check for blood in the stool. The National Institute of Health recommends that men and women start to get protection for colorectal cancer after 50 years.

Commercial Auto Insurance Remains a Loser on the Whole: Fitch

 


 While the property / loss industry has reported three consecutive years of significant underwriting profit, and commercial auto market as a whole reported an underwriting loss for the fifth consecutive year in 2015.

In short, the US commercial auto insurance has evolved into a "chronically underperforming product segment" for the US property / loss insurers, according to Fitch Ratings.

At the same time, Fitch notes, a number of carriers underwriting the line continues to do well.

Underwriting loss increased bone statutory mixing ratio rising to about 109 for the latest year. A business auto mixing ratio averaged 106 from 2011-2015, according to analysts at Fitch.
